This rare double-handled vessel with upturned handles and wide everted rim is painted with red and brown geometric patterns such as bands and waves of red and brown.
Daunian pottery was produced in the Daunia, today’s Italian provinces of Barletta and Foggia.
The development of Daunian pottery forms is independent of the first Greek ceramics.
