Tetradrachm from Ephesus.

Period / Age: ca. 360 - 350 BC

Provenance: English private collection.

Obverse: a bee within a dotted border and the Greek letters, Epsilon and Phi, to either side.
Reverse: the foreparts of a stag kneeling in right profile, looking back to a palm tree. The inscription reads TIMOLAS.
