Large hematite Gnostic intaglio in oval shape.
A figure of a deity standing over a lotus flower.
The figure of deity is holding a stuff and it is flaked by lizard.
Inscription with magical letters.

In Egyptian hieroglyphics, the symbol of the lizard was representative of plentiful abundance. Lizard symbolism is linked to sun, light, regeneration, and renewal. In some cultures it is a symbol of good fortune.

Back in Egyptians times, the lotus flower was very important in religion. Meaning creation and rebirth, it was a symbol of the sun, because at nightfall it closes and goes beneath the water and at dawn it climbs up above the water and reopens.
